About the opportunity

We're looking for an ambitious and technically skilled Computer Science master's student with previous professional software development experience to join our team as a Full-Stack Developer Intern.

You'll work directly with our technical team and leadership to develop internal applications, improve existing systems, and implement AI-powered solutions that help our business operate and scale.

We're particularly interested in someone who knows how to leverage modern AI coding tools to build software efficiently, takes ownership of projects, and enjoys solving technical challenges independently.

We're looking for a long-term fit, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time position after your internship.

What you'll do

• Develop and improve full-stack applications, internal tools, and business systems.
• Build frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
• Use AI-powered coding tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and automation.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automate internal business processes.
• Collaborate with our technical team and leadership to translate business requirements into practical software solutions.
• Take ownership of projects, troubleshoot technical challenges, and proactively propose improvements.

Who you are

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Have previous professional work experience in software development, preferably in a full-stack development role.
• Have strong programming fundamentals and practical experience building and maintaining software applications.
• Have hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or OpenAI Codex.
• Are comfortable working across frontend and backend technologies and quickly learning new technical tools.
• Thrive in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment where independence, flexibility, and initiative are essential.
• Are ambitious, proactive, and motivated to take ownership of projects and deliver results.
• Communicate effectively, enjoy collaborating with others, and are comfortable working directly with leadership.
• Are interested in building a long-term career with DynamicWhale after completing your internship.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Hono / Express
• Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL
• Cloud & infrastructure: Google Cloud, Docker
• Version control & integrations: Git, REST APIs, webhooks
• AI development tools: Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, OpenAI Codex

You don't need to have mastered every technology, but you should have a strong technical foundation and be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to build reliable software.

Nice to have: Experience in backend development, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, AI integrations, or previous employment in a startup or scale-up environment.
