Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions.\n\nAbout the internship:\n\nThe project focuses on developing robust statistical monitoring and forecasting capabilities for existing Capital Equipment and Customer Care dashboards to enhance data-driven decision making. The focus is on establishing a framework to automatically detect anomalies, identify emerging trends, and forecast future performance across key operational metrics. This may include identifying unusual changes in order volumes or revenue, shifts in service demand, deviations in installed base growth, or abnormal spikes in service cases, among other examples.\n\nThis role will contribute to translating complex analytical outputs into insights that are easily understood by key internal stakeholders, while helping build scalable and reusable analytical methods that improve operational visibility, performance monitoring, and proactive decision making across the Global Capital Equipment and Customer Care organization at Boston Scientific.\n\nProject objectives:\n\n * Develop a statistical monitoring framework for key operational metrics across Capital Equipment and Customer Care dashboards.\n * Develop, test, and implement statistical methods to automatically identify unusual patterns or anomalies within existing dashboards.\n * Design anomaly flags and alert mechanisms to highlight significant deviations in key metrics.\n * Build forecasting models to predict future trends for key commercial and operational metrics and support integration into existing dashboards.\n * Create visualizations that display forecasts, trends, and confidence ranges to support interpretation and decision-making by business stakeholders.\n * Optimization of current solutions.\n * Develop Power BI/Tableau training materials, guides, and tutorials on the above for business users. \n \n\n\n\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\n * Currently pursuing a Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, International Business or equivalent\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n * Familiarity with Tableau and Microsoft Power BI\n * Understanding of statistical concepts such as trend analysis, anomaly detection, or forecasting\n * Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear insights for business stakeholders\n * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment\n * Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced analytics environment\n * Strong level of ownership\n * Fluent in English\n\n\n\nWhat we offer:\n\n * Dynamic environment.\n * Team with diverse backgrounds and functional expertise.\n * Opportunities for skill as well as personal development.\n * Good work/life balance (flexible hours).\n * Opportunities to develop yourself and your network.\n\n\n\nRequisition ID: 625903\n\nBoston Scientific transforms lives through innovative medical technologies that improve the health of patients around the world.
