More about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to light the way as a Legal Compliance Intern in our Amsterdam office, focusing on privacy and AI-related matters.
You’ll join our Legal Compliance Team, supporting compliance initiatives and privacy projects across the organization.
The internship runs for 7–8 months, 40 hours per week, based in Amsterdam with occasional travel to Eindhoven.
We’re looking for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for privacy, AI compliance, and sustainability.

What you’ll do

• Support Privacy Impact Assessments and Data Subject Requests.
• Assist in handling privacy incidents and related documentation.
• Contribute to the Privacy Awareness and training programs.
• Support the execution of privacy program activities and AI compliance projects.
• Participate in the virtual intern network and team initiatives.

More about you

• Master’s degree student in Law, IT/Cyber Security, Data Governance, or Business Studies.
• Strong passion for privacy, data protection, AI governance and compliance.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Notes

• EU students: To be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
• Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student, and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are, and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
