Your goal

For our Corporate Legal team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a legal intern to support a wide range of legal and compliance tasks.

This internship at Marktlink offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across various legal fields. As an intern, you will take on a supportive and administrative role as well as an independent role, where you will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects related to the day-to-day operations, the expansion in the European market, general compliance and KYC, policies, and corporate housekeeping.

Your responsibilities

Supporting the legal counsel with day-to-day operations, communications and research.
Developing various policies regarding legal processes and compliance.
Working on the expansion of the company in various European countries.
Handling pre-litigation work, such as notices of default.
Negotiating and reviewing contracts including general terms & conditions.
Performing compliance checks, handling KYC-requests.
Building and expanding the legal know-how database
Participating in various legal projects, aligned with your interests across various departments of the company such as HR, Marketing, Finance, IT & Facility.

Your profile

Studying law at a university of applied sciences (HBO) or academic (WO) level and looking for a challenging and diverse internship.
Knowledge of and an interest in corporate law & contractual law is required. Knowledge of Labor law, IE and/or Privacy is considered a bonus.
Available at least 4 days a week for a period of 5 months (working internship).
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. More languages are preferable
Enthusiastic, analytical and detail oriented.
