Manufacturing Internship - Engineering Student/Skilled Trades

The Koops manufacturing intern will work on the machine build team or machining team based on Koops' availability and the intern's interest. These areas will allow students to get hands on experience in the automation industry. 
 

Machine Builder

• Plan & Prepare for machine build
• Assist in the assembly of custom automation including mechanical, electrical, & pneumatic build
• Utilize prints and CAD files
• Work at customer sites
• Shop Clean-up

Machinist

• Metal cutting & deburring
• Utilize prints and CAD files
• Machining on Bridgeport mills
• Shop Clean-up

​​​​Requirements:

This applicant must be a full-time engineering student in their freshman year or a student enrolled in or looking to get enrolled in a trades program. 
 

Timeline: 

We are looking to fill this position for the summer of 2025.
