PE/VC Summer Intern

Marktlink Capital is a Private Equity & Venture Capital (PE & VC) Fund Manager based in the Netherlands, with headquarters in CitySide Amsterdam. We offer entrepreneurs and private investors access to the best PE & VC funds. Marktlink Capital currently has a team of over 50 professionals and manages more than EUR 2 billion in capital commitments. This capital comes from nearly 2,000 investors who have collectively invested in over 100 PE & VC funds. 

We’re looking for ambitious master’s students in their final semester or recent graduates to join us as PE/VC Intern. This 3-month, full-time internship is perfect for launching your career in private equity and venture capital. Let’s go!As part of our Investment Team, you’ll: 

• Research and evaluate private equity and venture capital fund opportunities, analyzing historical performance, investment strategies, and market positioning.
• Collaborate with senior team members on in-depth due diligence for potential fund commitments and co-investments.
• Prepare concise, data-driven investment memos and presentations for our Investment Committee.
• Assist in tracking and reviewing the performance of existing fund commitments, analyzing reports, and maintaining internal databases.
• Stay on top of industry trends, market shifts, and emerging strategies within private equity and venture capital.
• Support the preparation of client updates and internal stakeholder reports.
• Contribute to projects such as building relationships with General Partners and organizing investor events.

We’re looking for someone who: 

• Is currently pursuing or has recently completed a master's in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Has strong analytical and quantitative skills (you love digging into data and financial models).
• Is passionate about private equity, venture capital, and financial markets.
• Communicates effectively, presenting complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a proactive mindset.
• Is available for a 3-month, full-time internship.
• Is based in or near Amsterdam.
• Who has an excellent command of Dutch and English.
