About the Role

As a Product Manager Intern at fonQ, reporting into the Head of IT, you will gain hands-on experience in product development and management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to help bring innovative products to market. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and make a tangible impact on our products and business.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: Assist in defining product requirements and specifications. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and test new product features.
• Project Management: Support project management activities, including creating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of product milestones.
• User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to improve product features and usability. Participate in user testing sessions and report findings.
• Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user stories, product roadmaps, and release notes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning. Assist in the creation of marketing materials and sales training

Requirements

• Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an HBO (Hoger Beroepsonderwijs) or WO (Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs) program in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of software development and backend technologies. Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills.

• Passion for Products: Enthusiasm for product management and a keen interest in technology and innovation.
