Reports To:  Marketing Manager
Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven Sales Development Intern to join our Marketing team. You will play a critical role in supporting our outbound efforts by researching potential leads, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings with sustainability, facilities, and digital transformation decision-makers across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential leads that fit Univers’ ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, and phone to generate meetings
  • Qualify leads using criteria such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline)
  • Manage and update the CRM (Salesforce) with lead status and outcomes
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to optimize messaging and outreach strategies
  • Assist in preparing outreach materials, including one-pagers and case studies
  • Join selected client meetings to observe and learn

What You’ll Learn

  • Real-world experience in B2B sales and marketing
  • Lead generation tactics for cleantech and AI solutions
  • How to qualify enterprise-level accounts
  • Usage of tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement platforms
  • Understanding of ESG and energy trends in Southeast Asia


Requirements

  • Undergraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and engaging senior stakeholders
  • Interest in technology, energy, and sustainability topics is a plus
