Summer Internship (Frontend)

In a nutshell

Become an integral part of one of our teams, each playing a crucial role across the company. From building a centralized UI to manage feature flags and streamline operator workflows, to creating a web-based data catalog for better data accessibility, or developing interactive tools to improve employee onboarding and training: there’s no shortage of impactful projects to drive efficiency and innovation. At Picnic your skills will be taken to the next level with the latest tech and our diverse projects will keep you challenged and motivated.

This is a 2-month full-time position. Please note that this is not a thesis internship. 

Tricks of the trade

• Drive: With a strong motivation to learn and improve, you’ll take ownership of projects while working closely with your colleagues to grow and develop your skills.


• Contribution: You’ll learn how to design, test, and improve key aspects of our operations, with plenty of mentorship along the way. You’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, bringing both creativity and analytical thinking to the table.


• Curiosity: You’re driven to explore and optimize systems, always eager to understand how each line of code contributes to the bigger picture and overall business goals.


• Our Tech: Angular, RxJs, NgRx, Playwright, Teamcity, Git, Spinnaker 

We’re looking for

• You are in the process of acquiring a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical field 


• A collaborative mindset, ready to engage with the team and seek out new opportunities for improvement.


• Motivated to challenge the status quo and drive innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.


• Your English skills are on point (no Dutch required)


• You are available between 7th of July and 1st of September 2025.
