What we do

D2X launched the first regulated crypto derivatives exchange in a Tier 1 jurisdiction, operating 7 days a week. D2X Currently offers cash-settled BTC and ETH Calendar Futures in USD and EUR, with plans to offer more underlings as well as expanding into Options and Perpetual Futures within the year.

D2X Group N.V. was incorporated in 2021 in Amsterdam with the ambition to pioneer next-generation market infrastructure. D2X holds an MTF license (MiFID II) and has raised over €18 million from strategic investors including Point72, Flow Traders, and GSR.

Trading Services at D2X

Trading Services is a product-focused team that sits at the intersection of Trading, Technology, and Market Structure. We are responsible for the evolution, quality, and trading capability of the exchange. We put a strong emphasis on removing any manual actions, by automating wherever possible.

As a member of Trading Services, you own the trading product from market open to close and play a central role in delivering new functionality across the exchange. The team’s work is structured around three core pillars:

1. Client Onboarding & Integration

• Lead the technical onboarding of trading firms and software vendors


• Support exchange API configuration, certification, sandbox testing, and production go-lives


• Act as a technical and functional point of contact for participants integrating with the platform

2. Product Development & Testing

• Contribute to the definition, testing, and rollout of new trading features, products, and order types


• Validate trading, post-trade, and settlement behaviour in close collaboration with Engineering, Trading, Risk, and Compliance


• Own product quality metrics and drive continuous improvements across the trading lifecycle

3. Market Analytics & Automation

• Maintain oversight of trading activity and core platform behaviour using monitoring and analytics tools


• Identify useful information for members or internal teams, and help to automate the generation of this data, in our data warehouse pipeline (Python, Dagster, Iceberg).


• Investigate new technologies and product opportunities, that D2X may adopt.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the functional integrity of the trading platform across trading, post-trade, and settlement flows


• Act as a product and trading-domain expert for internal teams and external participants


• Support technical integrations, platform changes, and new product launches


• Collaborate closely with Engineering on feature design, testing, and production readiness


• Contribute to the design and evolution of the data warehouse and trading analytics


• Drive improvements in processes, tooling, and documentation to enhance platform quality and participant experience


• Create and maintain clear, high-quality documentation for both internal and external stakeholders

Your Skill Set

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


• Strong interest in analytics, financial markets, trading systems, and market structure


• Curiosity about digital assets and regulated trading environments


• Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills in English


• Available for 40 hours per week
