Web Developer Working Student TGSS

We are looking for a motivated Web Developer Working Student (TGSS) to support the development and maintenance of a customer support website. You will work closely with experienced developers in an international environment and contribute to improving digital tools that support our customers worldwide.

Your role in our team

As a Web Developer Working Student (TGSS), you will support the continuous development and maintenance of our TGSS customer support website. The platform is designed to provide customers with easy access to documentation, installers, and license management tools.

• You will collaborate with experienced developers and gain insight into real-world software development processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen your technical skills while contributing to meaningful solutions for our customers.


• You will join an international team of around 15 colleagues, including software developers, project managers, and administrative staff, working together in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining and improving an existing WordPress-based customer support website


• Developing new features using PHP and MySQL


• Supporting the implementation of functionalities such as:
  
  
  
  • Customer access to product documentation
  
  
  • Download of product installers
  
  
  • Software license allocation and management
  
  
  
  


• Assisting with the future development of features such as:
  
  
  
  • Customer support ticket system
  
  
  • Product knowledge base / wiki pages
  
  
  
  


• Ensuring the website remains stable, functional, and user-friendly

Bring your expertise into play

 We are looking for a student who is currently in their 3rd or 4th year of HBO or an equivalent level of study. Candidates may be studying fields such as the following (or similar):

• Software Development


• Computer Science


• Web Development


• IT-Engineering

We are also looking for someone who has:

•  Knowledge and practical experience with PHP and MySQL


• Experience with WordPress (considered a plus)


• Curiosity, practical, and motivation to learn


• Work independently with coding tasks while collaborating with the team


• Familiarity of existing systems and extend them further


• A structured and solution-oriented mindset

Working location

The activities will take place at Terma Leiden, the Netherlands.
