Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description: VanMoof is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our remote team in Eindhoven, NL. This part-time position is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to gain valuable experience in the accounting field. As an Accountant at VanMoof, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements - Assist with month-end and year-end close processes - Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Communicate regularly with team members to provide financial updates and insights - Help with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Negotiation skills - Resilient personality, able to handle challenges and setbacks - Experience with accounting software is a plus
