Accountant

Shapeways, a leading 3D printing service and marketplace company based in Utrecht, NL, is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team at the Associate level. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in accounting and possess a strong work ethic, adaptability, dedication, and excellent analytical and people management skills.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other reports - Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies and regulations - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning - Analyze financial information to identify trends and variances - Collaborate with colleagues in finance, operations, and other departments to support business objectives - Provide support for audits and tax preparation - Help identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA certification preferred - 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Previous experience with people management is a plus
