Pr Associate - Work from home

Job Description:

Damen Shipyards Group is seeking a talented and experienced PR Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Amsterdam, NL. As an Associate Level professional with at least 3 years of experience in public relations, you will play a crucial role in promoting Damen Shipyards Group and enhancing our reputation in the maritime industry.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote positive media coverage - Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and journalists to secure press coverage - Write and edit press releases, pitch letters, and other PR materials - Monitor media coverage and trends to identify opportunities for proactive outreach - Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and other media events - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align PR efforts with overall business objectives - Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, using data to drive decision-making - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR and communication

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field - 3+ years of experience in PR, preferably in the maritime or related industry - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to think creatively and strategically - Resourceful and passionate about PR and communications - Persuasion and negotiation skills - Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools - Experience working with international media outlets is a plus
