Bar Team Member

Mercure Hotel Nijmegen Centre is, as the name suggests, centrally located in Nijmegen. Within 1 minute you are at the train and/or bus station and after a 5-minute walk you will find yourself in the centre of Nijmegen. 

With 4 hotel stars and 112 hotel rooms, we are one of the larger hotels in Nijmegen and we are known for the service we provide to our guests.

Our guests want to enjoy a nice drink or a delicious meal and you and your colleagues will make sure of that. The bar is open until 23:00 every day and our restaurant from 17:30 to 22:00.

Your shift starts with checking the bar, is there enough of everything? If not, you make sure products are replenished so that you and your colleagues can have a great evening. After grabbing yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea, you welcome our guests and pamper them with all the goodies we have to offer such as delicious local beers, a refreshing cocktail or a nice meal. 

During your shift, you will be working in the bar and restaurant. You'll make sure all preparations are made for the evening so you never miss out on anything and nicely decorate the restaurant. You welcome our guests and make sure they don't miss a thing. At the end of your shift, the bar and restaurant are left clean so our guests can enjoy a nice breakfast there again the next morning.

You are willing to work more:

The bar is open until 23:00 every day but should the bar still be very busy at 23:00, you don't mind staying open a bit longer. Satisfied guests, that's what we do it for, right!

Not travelling to work by public transport but by car? You can! We have a large car park next to the hotel where you, as a colleague, can park your car. 

If you come by bike, it can always be parked in our covered bicycle shed.
