Vacancy: De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is looking for a Data Science Assistant (eDiscovery Support)

The job

We are looking for an eager student currently engaged in technical/analytical studies. You will be supporting our eDiscovery and Investigation team within our Legal Operations department on a multitude of data-related tasks for different clients.

You will be responsible for data handling and technical process support for eDiscovery and Investigation projects. Tasks include but are not limited to data management, data processing, document searching and data investigative analysis.

All under the supervision of our eDiscovery and Investigations team.

Working as a data science assistant for the eDiscovery team offers a great opportunity for anybody with an eye for detail, who enjoys learning more about the daily business in an Internationally-oriented law firm.

The ideal candidate

• We are looking for a student who is flexible, stress resistant and able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• A background in technical/analytical studies.
• Dutch and English speaker.
• Working meticulously is very important in this position, and therefore having relevant experience is a plus.
• You need to be available two days a week; your workdays will be scheduled in agreement with you.
• Good IT knowledge and Excel skills are a must.
• Previous knowledge of database management is a plus.
