Position of the position in the organization
Reports to the HR Manager.
Purpose of the position
The main purpose of the HR Specialist is to govern the processes for personnel and payroll administration in close collaboration with the Senior HR Assistant.
- You will do Human Resources personnel administration and HR support with the use of HR systems, such as ADP Payroll, Workday HRIS, Time-Wize Saphire Time Management.
- You will support the on- trans- and off boarding processes.
- You will ensure HR documentation in accordance with legislation and internal procedures.
- You will be the backup of our Senior HR Assistant on Payroll and Time Management processes.
- You will be the local HR Workday specialist in which you will take the lead in the use of this system and helping improving the usage of this system.
- We are in a transition from HR support directly to employees to HR in the line, improving the current processes and provide direct instructions and training to employees and managers.

Characterization of the activities
HR Support on-, trans- and offboarding processes
- Manages, monitors and carries out all processes of entry and exit of employment and advancement and the correct implementation of the employment conditions policy and personnel regulations and collective labor agreement in the personnel and salary administration.
- You support the recruitment/ onboarding, transboarding and outboarding processes of employees.
- To this end, you work together with our preferred suppliers / employment agencies, recruiter (self-employed / contract basis) or agency, etc.
- You also process the authorization of hours of external workers, temporary workers through employment agencies and individual or agency contractors.
Absenteeism Management system
- You support absenteeism management with the HR system Verzuimsignaal and support managers in its use.
- You support the Absenteeism case manager in the sick leave administration in the UWV portal and Absenteeism portal ‘Verzuim Signaal’.
Payroll and time management systems
- The payroll administration is carried out for the Netherlands and Germany and for this purpose you manage, monitor and control the correct processing of personnel changes in the personnel system together as back-up of our Senior HR Assistant.
- Time-Wize Saphir is our time management system. You will take the lead where necessary, for instance as back-up of the Sr. HR Assistant.
Workday Expert and Trainer
- You are a specialist for our HRM system Workday and therefore the point of contact for managers and possibly employees with questions.
- Training of employees and manager on the basis usage of Workday.
- Local expert means being involved into project to improve Workday locally for the Netherlands and the Germany.
- Go-to person for questions being asked relating to Workday.
Knowledge and experience
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, completed HBO Human Resources Management.
- Workday Specialist
- 1-3 years of HR-related work experience.
- Has knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Good knowledge of various systems (Microsoft Office and HR systems)
- Good communication and social skills.
- Integrity, pro-active and independent.
- Works in a structured and accurate way.
- Stress resistant and helicopter view
- Good expressiveness in speech and writing.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language verbally and in writing.
