Internship - Open Application

We are looking for interns to join the Research & Development team within Ore Energy. The R&D Team has sub-teams working on the development and scaling of electrodes, electrolyte, and overall cell design. As such, we are always looking for a wide range of backgrounds. In this internship, you will:

• Contribute in the lab to help synthesize, analyze, and test battery materials
• Support your team members in efficiently trying new, innovative ideas for the improvement of our technology
• Help scale up the production of promising materials
• Support electrochemical testing by building electrochemical cells
• Generate internal reports to document research and testing activities
• Communicate findings, bottlenecks, or potential solutions within a collaborative group of engineers and scientists

• You are currently pursuing or just completed an (applied) university degree in Materials Science, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or another relevant technical field
• You enjoy hands-on laboratory work, technical design, or sustainable accounting
• You are a team player and good communicator with your team members
• You are not afraid to ask questions or to ask for help
• You have a passion for sustainability and climate change
• You have high attention to detail, excellent organizational, and documentation skills
• You have a growth mindset and  a preference for learning through experience
• You are fluent in English

• An internship duration of 3-6 months. A compensation of €500/month for a 40h/week internship
