About the Role:

As a Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing and building data systems, and you ensure that you are aware of the latest technology to maintain data sets. You are experienced and driven in this! You also test these datasets and work with various stakeholders to convert the wishes within the organization into datasets that can be effectively read and used by Data Analysts & Data Scientists, among others. The Data Engineering & AI squad takes on this responsibility for their customers. Their consultants work on important data engineering projects for organizations such as KLM & ASML, and also within large government organizations.

Our Client´s Team

Our client's organization employs over 250 colleagues in diverse areas of competence who have been assigned to outstanding clients on excellent projects. Their Data Engineering and AI team consists of 15 people. Their Data Engineers work for government and large commercial clients, so there are diverse jobs!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• A completed HBO or WO education with a relevant field such as computer science, data science, or other related field in which you work with databases
• At least 4 years of experience as a data engineer or a similar role in which you work with Big Data
• Experience in designing and implementing Big Data technologies
• Designing, building, troubleshooting, and monitoring ETL/ELT pipelines
• Knowledge of the programming languages ​​Python, Java, or Scala, and preferably experience with Hadoop and Spark, Flink, or Snowflake.

• Fluency in Dutch and English

PREFERABLE HARD SKILLS

• Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, Consultant, Master's Degree, Azure Data Engineer Associate
