Content Strategy Lead - Netherlands

Role Overview

As Content Strategy Lead at WX, you will develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that establish our agency's thought leadership in the digital marketing space. You'll direct our internal team to create high-impact content optimized for target audiences (industries such as Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, and SaaS/Technology companies using HubSpot) and AI models, ensuring maximum visibility across our website, social channels, email marketing, and direct communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Leadership: Develop and implement content strategies aligned with WX's business objectives and industry-specific audience needs; set measurable objectives and KPIs.
• Team Enablement & Direction: Enable internal teams to create quality content; provide guidance and direction; ensure content strategy is followed; perform quality assurance; make necessary edits to content; distribute responsibilities among strategists, consultants, designers, and developers.
• Content Creation & Production: Guide/repurpose thought leadership content in various formats (blogs, articles, videos, case studies), showcasing WX's expertise to target industries.
• Multi-Channel Distribution: Implement omnichannel distribution strategies across the website, social media (especially LinkedIn), email marketing, and direct messaging to maximize reach.
• AI & SEO Optimization: Develop content/ enhance content for AI models and search engines to improve visibility and rankings for target keywords.
• Brand Voice & Messaging: Define and maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all content channels for targeted industry audiences.
• Project Management: Establish systematic processes, content calendars, and efficient workflows to ensure timely delivery across all channels.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor content performance metrics across channels to identify areas for improvement; present actionable insights to leadership.
• Industry Expertise Development: Stay updated on trends and best practices in target industries (i.e., Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, SaaS/Technology) to ensure content relevance and authority.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in content strategy leadership with demonstrable results
• Expert knowledge of content distribution strategies across multiple channels
• Strong understanding of / interest in AI-based search optimization and content visibility
• Experience in content-driven conversion optimization for B2B technology audiences
• HubSpot expertise or certification (CMS, analytics, workflows)
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• (nice to have) Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, and SaaS/Technology industries
