Accountant (Legal)

TeamAce Limited: Our client, a reputable company in the legal and entertainment industry firm is looking to fill the role of; Job Title: ACCOUNTANT Location: VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS Job Summary: As an Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will work closely with various departments to analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and prepare reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems.

Requirements:

• BSC in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting in a legal or entertainment space.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
