QuickBooks Accountant

Job Title: Quickbook Accountant Location: Ikorodu Industry: Agro-Allied Salary: #250,000 gross/net Responsibilities Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Prepare budget forecasts Publish financial statements in time Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Manage all accounting transactions Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Comply with financial policies and regulations. Requirements and skills HND/BSC degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred. 3 + year experience in bookkeeping Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Excel Ability to process high-volume vendor payments Strong debits/credits knowledge Stable job history Experience with general ledger functions Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Additional certification (ICAN) is a plus
