Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Union Bank of Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers the flexibility to work from home, making it ideal for candidates located in Abuja, NG.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including but not limited to general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements - Analyze financial data and generate reports for management decision-making - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management - Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support - Assist with audit preparation and provide necessary documentation

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or ACCA certification preferred - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Resilient and hardworking with the ability to work independently - Strong research and time management skills
