Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Unilever Nigeria is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work from home. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving financial performance - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting - Assist with audits and regulatory compliance - Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3 years of experience in accounting or related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently - CPA or similar certification is a plus
