Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Farmcrowdy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Ibadan, Nigeria. As an integral part of our finance department, the Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation - Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with vendors - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances - Prepare and process payments to vendors in a timely manner - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for audit inquiries - Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding of expenses - Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Resilient and independent mindset with the ability to work autonomously - Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Knowledge of applicable tax and regulatory requirements
