Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

DHL in Lagos, Nigeria is currently seeking an energetic and adaptable individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Associate. This full-time position at the associate level requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Managing the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations - Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue accounts - Resolving any billing discrepancies and communicating with customers to address payment issues - Analyzing financial data and generating reports to support decision-making - Collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions - Supporting month-end and year-end close processes - Assisting with audits and financial reviews as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or financial accounting - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Prior experience with international accounts or logistics industry is a plus
