Farm Manager / Vertirinary Officer

Responsibilities:

• Management of the feed allocation to birds
• Supervision and Management of broiler breeders
• Supply schedule for Broiler Breeder Production Farms.
• Management of the bird's weight in conformity with the standard for optimum productivity.
• Management of farm staff and planning of work with work task

allocation to farm staff. • Management of farm logistics for prompt and efficient productivity and delivery. • Arrangement of all Broiler Breeder Production Farms daily and weekly reports.

• Management and supervision of Broiler Parent Stock.
• Vaccination and medication of birds
• Disease diagnosis and treatment administration
• Grading of birds according to their weight
• Weekly weight monitoring and analysis
• Monitoring of the production performance
• Reporting of daily production performance

• Recommendation of birds for culling

Requirements and Skills

• B.Sc. / HND in Animal Science, Agronomy, Agriculture, Animal Health and Prod. Tech, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience
• Strong decision-making.
