Job Description - Personnel Officer

Your role will encompass various responsibilities including recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance to ensure the smooth operation of our workforce in alignment with company goals and values. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Conduct pre-employment background checks and verify references for selected candidates. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner. Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution. Training and Development: Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Identify training needs based on performance evaluations and organizational objectives. Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and resources. Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process by administering evaluations and providing feedback to employees. Maintain accurate records of employee performance reviews and related documentation. Collaborate with supervisors to establish performance goals and development plans. Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and make recommendations for policy updates as necessary. HR Administration: Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Process employee paperwork related to hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations. Generate HR reports and metrics for management review.
