Country Manager/Head of Sales (Fintech/Payments)

Role overview

As the Country Manager you will be at the helm of our clients operations in Nigeria.

This role requires a visionary leader with at least 15 years of experience in sales along with a profound understanding of the payments industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in fintech or banking sectors and be adept at driving growth and maximizing market potential.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in sales with significant leadership roles.

  • Proven experience in the payment industry fintech or banking is essential.

  • Strong understanding of business functions such as HR Finance marketing etc.

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.

  • Aptitude in decisionmaking and problemsolving.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or relevant field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our clients customer base and ensure its strong presence in the country.

  • Lead and motivate a highperforming team to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.

  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.

  • Build trusted relationships with key partners clients and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.

  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.

  • Monitor financial performance to ensure the company achieves its financial goals and manage budgets to maximize profitability.

  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company.
