Job Description:
As an Office Manager at Lafarge Africa, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of our office in Lagos. You will play a key role in ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, while providing support to our team members and maintaining a positive work environment. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone who is passionate and dedicated to making a positive impact in the workplace.
Responsibilities: - Managing and coordinating office activities and operations to ensure efficiency - Overseeing administrative staff and delegating responsibilities as needed - Maintaining office supplies inventory and ordering new supplies as needed - Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails - Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members - Organizing and maintaining office filing systems and databases - Assisting with HR tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records - Handling financial tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and budget management - Providing support to team members with various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements: - 1 year of experience in office management or a related field - Passionate and dedicated to creating a positive work environment - Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office management software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
