Job Description:
The Personal Assistant at Jumia will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the executive team. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can anticipate the needs of the executives and handle various tasks efficiently. The Personal Assistant will serve as a gatekeeper, managing the executives' schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, organizing meetings and events, handling correspondence, and conducting research on behalf of the executives.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the executives' calendars and schedule appointments 2. Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, and transportation 3. Prepare meeting agenda, attend meetings, and take and distribute minutes 4. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail 5. Conduct research on various topics and provide summaries and recommendations to the executives 6. Assist with personal errands and special projects as assigned 7. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion 8. Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and document preparation 9. Act as a point of contact between the executives and internal and external stakeholders 10. Assist in organizing company events and social gatherings
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a personal assistant or executive assistant 3. Energetic and resilient personality traits 4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet 5. Leadership skills and the ability to take charge when needed 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software 8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively 9. A high level of professionalism and discretion 10. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
