Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and functionality of our projects while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineers to develop project designs and specifications for infrastructure and building projects, such as roads, bridges, dams, water treatment facilities, and buildings.
Conduct feasibility studies, analyze site conditions (including soil composition, hydrology, and topography), and assess potential environmental impacts.
Perform complex calculations to determine load capacities, material requirements, and structural integrity of designs.
Prepare and interpret construction drawings (using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software) and other technical documents.
Develop cost estimates, prepare construction schedules, and manage project budgets.
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Conduct inspections, identify and resolve construction problems, and recommend solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest civil engineering technologies, materials, and construction methods.
Maintain clear and concise communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and architects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
Professional Engineer (PE) license (or actively pursuing licensure) is a plus.
Proficiency in Civil Engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Knowledge on QS (Quantity survey)
Knowledge on BOQ
Bit work experience on project management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
