Job Description - Business Development Executive

  • Develop and implement initiatives to attract new projects and clients and penetrate new markets.

  • Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities through established business relationships and channel partnerships.

  • Execute prospecting activities aligned with the company’s business plans and objectives.

  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and high-profile prospects to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Ensure the company CRM tool is updated and maintained with all pertinent details related to prospecting activities.

  • Take the lead in initiating, managing, and retaining relationships with clients

  • Manage assigned territory effectively, striving to achieve sales targets consistently

  • Establish and nurture professional networks to facilitate business growth and development

  • Drive the pursuit and closure of significant deals to meet or surpass sales targets

  • Negotiate effectively with stakeholders to secure beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.

  • Qualify prospects and new sales leads to optimize sales pipeline efficiency.

  • Identify and assess business strengths and customer needs to tailor solutions accordingly.

Requirements

  • Experience Length: 5 years in a sales or business development environment

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools, facilitating efficient management of client interactions and sales processes.

  • A deep understanding of B2B enterprise sales in the Edtech Industry and its competitive landscape is considered a plus.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented approach, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.

  • Proficiency in networking, demonstrating the ability to connect with and build relationships with C-suite executives.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, enabling the confident presentation and persuasion of CEOs regarding the value of your solutions.

  • Strategic thinking capabilities, facilitating the development and execution of effective sales plans.

  • A data-driven approach to sales, capable of tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
