Job Description - Client Service Officer

Job Description:


We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Client Service Officer to join our team at Sterling Bank in Lagos, Nigeria. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in client service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner. 2. Provide excellent customer service through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings. 3. Analyze client feedback and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall client experience. 4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requests are fulfilled and problems are addressed effectively. 5. Develop and implement strategies for client retention and loyalty. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in client service to continuously improve processes. 7. Act as a liaison between clients and the bank, conveying important information and updates. 8. Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed to support the overall goals of the bank.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Strategic planning and innovation skills. 4. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 6. Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus. 7. Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
