Job Description - Remote Customer Service Officer

Job Description:


We are seeking a Remote Customer Service Officer to join our team at Standard Chartered Bank in Ibadan, NG. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in customer service roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our team.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and live chat. 3. Assist customers with account management, transactions, and product inquiries. 4. Educate customers on our products and services to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and achieve team goals. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers. 8. Provide feedback to management on customer needs and trends.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. 4+ years of experience in customer service roles. 3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 4. Driven and adaptable personality traits. 5. Strong persuasion and leadership soft skills. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 8. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
