Customer Support Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a resilient and passionate Customer Support Officer to join Guaranty Trust Bank in Lagos, Nigeria. As an Associate Level position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring their banking needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner, as well as promoting our products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 1. Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner. 2. Resolving customer complaints and issues with empathy and a positive attitude. 3. Assisting customers with various banking transactions, such as account inquiries, transfers, and bill payments. 4. Educating customers on our products and services to meet their financial needs. 5. Collaborating with other departments to escalate complex customer issues and provide solutions. 6. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Upholding the company's standards of customer service excellence at all times.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role within the banking industry. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 5. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software. 7. Resilient and able to handle challenging situations with composure. 8. Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
