Job Description - Customer Support Specialist

Job Description:


We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Guaranty Trust Bank in Abuja, NG. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving any issues they may have, and ensuring they have a positive experience with our bank.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with account inquiries, transactions, and general banking information. 3. Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively, escalating issues as needed. 4. Provide accurate information about our products and services to customers. 5. Educate customers on how to use our online banking platform and mobile app. 6. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and improve overall customer experience. 7. Maintain customer records and update information as needed. 8. Stay informed about banking regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to policies.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 2. 4 years of experience in customer service or banking. 3. Resilient and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. 4. Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 7. Experience using CRM software and other customer support tools. 8. Knowledge of banking products and services is a plus.
