Job Title:Site Security Officer.

Job Overview:

Our client a dynamic conglomerate renowned for its expertise in Real Estate and other industries is seeking a vigilant Site Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of construction sites. The Site Security Officer will be responsible for implementing security measures conducting patrols and responding to security incidents to protect personnel assets and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect construction sites materials and equipment ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.
  
• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and threats assessing potential risks to site security and developing mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
  
• Develop and implement security plans and procedures including access control surveillance and alarm systems to safeguard construction sites against unauthorized access theft vandalism and other security threats.
• Monitor site activities and personnel using surveillance systems and patrols to detect and deter security breaches unauthorized activities or suspicious behaviour.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly taking appropriate action to mitigate risks ensure the safety of personnel and protect assets and reporting incidents as necessary to relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and security contractors as needed collaborating to address security concerns investigate incidents and enforce security protocols effectively.
• Train and educate site personnel on security protocols and procedures providing guidance on security best practices emergency response procedures and safety awareness to promote a securityconscious culture.
  
• Maintain security logs incident reports and documentation accurately documenting securityrelated activities incidents and observations and providing detailed reports to project stakeholders and authorities as required.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional securityrelated certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations preferably in construction or related industries.
• Knowledge of security protocols procedures and techniques.
• Ability to operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras and access control systems.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Excellent judgment and decisionmaking abilities.
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties in various weather conditions.

Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily: Minimum of a HND/ BSC in Estate Management or Similar discipline 10 years minimum experience in a similar position in a reputable organization Must be able to demonstrate your experience of managing property and projects The candidate should be confident, a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision-making, and a hands on approach Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership skills
