Mechanical engineer

Ajay tech is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of innovative products, ensuring they meet quality standards, performance specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design: Lead and contribute to the design and development of mechanical components and systems for new products or enhancements to existing products.

Analysis and Testing: Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamic analyses to validate and optimize designs. Coordinate and conduct testing and validation activities.

Prototyping: Create prototypes and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the performance and manufacturability of designs.

CAD Modeling: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing.

Project Management: Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Materials Selection: Research and select appropriate materials for designs, considering factors such as cost, performance, and environmental impact.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including design specifications, reports, and technical drawings.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and innovation in mechanical design and engineering processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for modeling and drafting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in new product introduction (NPI) and mass production processes.
• Knowledge of mechatronics and control systems.
• Understanding of sustainable design practices.
• Experience with rapid prototyping techniques.
