Accountant

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting procedures. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers with great attention to detail.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records. 
2. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. 
3. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
4. Collaborate with HR to execute flawless payroll processes, guaranteeing timely and accurate compensation for our valued team members.
5. Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate calculations. 
6. Monitor and analyze expenses, providing insights that empower decision-making and resource allocation for optimized business performance.
7. Help with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance requirements.
8. Work closely with HR, operations, and management teams to understand financial implications, contributing your insights to collaborative projects.
9. Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes and procedures. 
10. Stay abreast of financial regulations and ensure the firm's adherence, fostering a compliant and ethical financial environment. 

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Professional qualifications (ACA or ACCA) is a plus but not required. 
3. Minimum of 1 - 2 years proven experience as an accountant. 
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
