Marketing Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and independent Marketing Assistant to join our team at Seplat Petroleum Development in Port Harcourt, NG. As an entry-level position, the Marketing Assistant will support the marketing department in various administrative tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and possess strong project management and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns. 2. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing materials are produced on time and meet quality standards. 3. Maintain and update company website and social media platforms. 4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities. 5. Assist in organizing and attending marketing events and conferences. 6. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management. 7. Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 2. 1 year of experience in marketing or a similar role. 3. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 4. Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills. 5. Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software/tools. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
