We are seeking a highly skilled and detail -oriented Accountant with a solid background in consulting or the financial services industry to support our expanding operations.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will be experienced, professionally certified, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory financial reporting requirements.
  

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, expenditure, and financial controls.
  

• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  

• Maintain up -to -date and accurate records of all financial transactions.
  

• Oversee payroll, tax computation, and remittance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.).
  

• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  

• Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
  

• Support financial due diligence, audits, and risk assessments.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  

• ICAN or ACA certification is mandatory.
  

• 5–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within consulting or the financial services industry.
  

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
  

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  

• High level of integrity and strong attention to detail.
  

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
