Job Description - Accountant

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage financial records, monitor transactions, prepare financial reports, and support the companyâs financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, good knowledge of accounting processes, and the ability to maintain accurate financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

â Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.

â Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.

â Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

â Manage budgets and track financial performance.

â Handle payroll and ensure staff are paid correctly and on time.

â Prepare and file taxes while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

â Audit financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

â Provide financial advice and reports to support management decision-making.

Requirements

â B.Sc in Accounting or a related field.

â Minimum of 1 - 2+ years relevant accounting experience.

â Strong numerical and analytical skills.

â Excellent attention to detail.

â Knowledge of accounting software such as Excel and QuickBooks.

â Understanding of financial regulations and tax laws.

â Good organizational and time management skills
