The Financial Associate is a vital role within the organization, responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations. This position supports the financial health of the NGO by managing day-to-day transactions, maintaining financial records, and delivering timely reports. With a focus on accuracy, accountability, and regulatory compliance, the Financial Associate plays a key role in enabling strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding financial integrity in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Process financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations, in compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with tax laws and reporting standards.
Ensure adherence to financial compliance requirements, including timely tax filings and annual financial disclosures.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Conduct basic financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and management decision-making.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software and documentation protocols.
