Accounts Officer

1. Work with the accounting unit to ensure duties are properly performed.
2. Assisting with research, filing, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
3. Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
4. Work with the company accounting software.
5. Prepare and maintain a petty cash/imprest system
6. Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
7. Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
8. Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
9. Preparing report based on analysis and reporting to management
10. Any other responsibility as may arise in the course of your work

• 0-2 years of accounting or other relevant experience
• Proficient in the use Accounting packages and Excel functions
• BSC degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics) or Started ICAN, ACCA or at least 1. 
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Good business acumen

• Up-to-date financial records
• Ability to manage resources 
• Recommendations to improve bottom-line
• Periodic financial statements
• Ability to present a good report
