Summary

This role is designed for a dedicated professional with a background in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Fisheries Technology, Zoology, or a related discipline. The position focuses on the comprehensive management of fish farm operations, ensuring optimal conditions for fish health and productivity. The incumbent will play a vital part in overseeing daily activities from pond preparation to harvest, contributing significantly to the efficiency and sustainability of the aquaculture business.

Responsibilities

Facilitate pond setup, manage fish stocking procedures, and oversee routine farm operations.
Continuously monitor and document critical water quality parameters, including pH levels, temperature, and dissolved oxygen concentrations.
Coordinate feeding schedules, track growth rates, and manage feed inventory and usage.
Detect early indicators of fish illness and implement fundamental health management strategies.
Maintain precise documentation regarding production metrics and harvest data.
Acquire knowledge and skills related to post-harvest handling, processing techniques, and market distribution of fish products.
