Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the assigned area.
- Ensure effective coverage of the area and identify expansion opportunities.
- Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders by understanding their needs and addressing their concerns.
- Create sales reports, projections, and budgets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to stay updated on market trends and customer preferences.
- Manage promotional campaigns and activations.
- Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Branch Manager.
- Monitor Distributors' turnover and stocks on a weekly basis and ensure that the various SKUs are available and that the Distributors meet their monthly targets.
- Responsible for Distributor management and effective use of allocated resources.
- Liaising with management and customers for effective delivery of our products.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification of Bachelor or HND Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other field.
- 3 - 5 years experience as a Regional/Area Sales Manager or Warehouse Operations Manager; preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Territory Management Skills customer/outlet mapping, call/route planning, volume planning, NND, and Market Analysis.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Must possess good analytical and computing skills.
- Proficiency in information tracking, sales analytics, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Decision-making and demonstrating self-confidence.
- Ability to use smartphones and tech-savvy.
