Area Sales Officer (Aso)

Job Description

• In -Store Execution: Ensure 100% product availability and optimal visibility at all times.
  
• Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and buying teams across major supermarkets.
  
• Stock & Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent out -of -stock situations and coordinate with distributors and dispatch teams for timely replenishment.
  
• Coverage: Visit assigned supermarkets daily, record stock levels, and generate orders for at least 15 supermarkets in line with the assigned route plan.
  
• Debt Collection: Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely debt recovery where applicable.
  
• SFA Usage: Ensure all generated orders are accurately captured in the SFA system at the point of sale (POS).
  
• DMS Compliance: Ensure all orders are transmitted to the distributor’s DMS and processed for dispatch accordingly.
  
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and gather consumer feedback to support business decisions.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
  
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG, specifically within the supermarket channel.
