Job Description - Assistant Accountant (Entry Level)

We are seeking a detail -oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our finance team in daily accounting operations. Candidates must be resident within Victoria Island and its environs (Ikoyi, Lekki and Oniru axis preferred)

Requirements

Entry -level role (minimum of 1 year relevant accounting experience)

Must possess a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with accounting software is an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and posting financial transactions
Support accounts payable and receivable processing
Assist with bank reconciliation.
Maintain proper financial records and documentation
Support month -end and routine financial reporting
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
