Job Description - Assistant Legal Officer

Job Summary

3CHUB is seeking a competent and detail -oriented Assistant Legal Officer to support its legal operations. The role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, liaising with external stakeholders, monitoring litigation and insurance matters, and providing legal support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Drafting and Documentation

  • Draft, review, and manage agreements, contracts, and official correspondence for the company and its business units.

  • Ensure all legal documents are accurate, properly documented, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

2. Liaison with External Stakeholders

  • Communicate and coordinate with landlords, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other external parties on legal matters, including those outside Lagos.

  • Represent the company in external legal engagements as required.

3. Litigation and Insurance Management

  • Monitor and follow up on litigation matters involving the company, including tracking case progress and maintaining records.

  • Manage insurance -related documentation and follow up on claims and related processes.

4. Legal Advisory Support

  • Provide legal support and guidance to management to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

  • Assist in reviewing company policies, procedures, and operations to ensure legal compliance.



Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B).

  • Nigerian Law School Certificate (B.L.) is required.

  • 1–3 years of relevant legal experience (preferred).

  • Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills.

  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
